Miss Bag O' Bones Tablescape

Well, look who has shown up to dine with us,
our elegant Miss Bag O' Bones.  You have met
her before, but she decided she wanted to
join us for an all
skeleton dinner this year.

She chose McKenzie-Childs Courtly Check scalloped
plates on top of a white embossed plate, then topped
with a mercury glass plate and finished with small
skull and bones plates.

Here is a view from above.  She wanted you to
see the entire table.

She is dressed in all her finery for our dinner.

I especially love her gaudy necklace.

I think she has her eye on this MC gent!

Or maybe she is going after the skeleton king.

The center of the table is filled with all kinds of fun.
I am sure we will keep this out all season.  The grandkid's
favorite is the skeletal phone that speaks to you when you
pick up the handle - oooooohhhhh!

Don't skeletons and pewter just seem perfect together?
She thought so too.

Black and silver flatware were her choice too,
I can see why.

Wait!  Beaulah popped in!  She is not going to
let Miss Bag O' Bones take her man
if she can help it!  Now, now ladies!!!

We hope you had fun visiting our place today.

It is always entertaining to be just a little bit scary around
Purple Chocolate Home
at this time of year.

I will be posting this party with

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

  1. Bravo! Miss Bag of Bones is the guest of honor and she shines....lol What a fun table Jacqueline. Once again, we are on the same wave length. I set a tablescape with skeletons for Chloe's Halloween blog hop. Mine gets posted tomorrow. It started today. When I saw your haunted forest table, I knew I had to have those skeleton serveware. last week, I picked them up from our Home Goods store. They are so fun! I love that Beaulah showed up. The plate stack is gorgeous. The skeltal phone looks like fun. A fun table to celebrate Halloween.

  3. Cute, cute! Miss Bag of Bones is a hoot. With all due respect, she reminds me of how my mom would show up at a party. Maybe it's the purple and the jewels. Funny!
