Jacqueline
Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

Words to Eat By
"Though never a very good dieter, she'd found a rule of thumb that kept her from blimping out as her metabolism aged - eat what you want, but not all of it. So if she wanted cheesecake, she made cheesecake, had a slice, and took the rest to a friend or someone in her church who needed a pick-me-up."

ReplyDeleteLooks lovely and the pitcher is a beauty. Happy anniversary! My poor lilac didn't make it from the hedge with all the rain, but I am not complaining, considering the poor folks in Missouri, sending prayers their way. xo,
ReplyDeleteTruthfully, as much as I love cake...and the fact I'm eating healthy right now makes that even more appealing...your photos are a feast for the eyes and I prefer that right now! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary Jacqueline! Those lilacs are gorgeous and must smell wonderful. Ours are just beginning to bud but I can't wait. I agree that fresh flowers don't last long enough. Sometimes they don't last long enough on the plant either and I always hope I am not away when the lilacs and peonies bloom. I was also just reading your post about the cooking class in Italy! What a special treat! I just went to a Patricia Wells book signing and she was tempting me with her cooing classes too. Linda
