Christmas Treasure Hunting

It's time for our annual Christmas Treasure Hunt!!!

We head out for brunching, and treasure hunting
for decorating our homes and for presents.

I have the best group of friends, we have had
several names over the years, The Lunch Bunch,
The Bling Bunch, and the Fab Five.

As you can see, we like bling - hence the name Bling Bunch.

And we like eating before or after - hence the name Lunch Bunch.

We love to do it any time of year, but right now, it
is time for Christmas treasure hunting.

We head to Salt Lake, making sure that
we have a big enough car to carry home
all of our treasures.

 (Maybe we need two cars!)

But what would be the fun of that!

We have been neighbors for 30 plus years,
although a couple have moved away, but we
have continued our friendships.

And yes we have hubbies, and we all get along
with the hubbies too.

They love to eat too.

Any time of year,

and anywhere!

We went down to St. George and saw the band,
The Fab Four, so that is where we came up
with that name - changing our name to the Fab Five.

We party together!

We all love water!

 We celebrate together!

We vacation together!

(Including hubbies!)

We entertain at each other's homes.

And we celebrate marriages and babies of our

Of all the treasures we have found shopping,
none are more valuable than our friendships!

Our usual Christmas treasure hunting has consisted
of heading to Salt Lake early in the morning and
having breakfast at the Grand America, then heading
off to Trader Joe's, Tai Pan, Home Goods, and Modern Display.

By then the car is full and we are broke and exhausted, but
well prepared for Christmas!

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.
