Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

Words to Eat By
"Though never a very good dieter, she'd found a rule of thumb that kept her from blimping out as her metabolism aged - eat what you want, but not all of it. So if she wanted cheesecake, she made cheesecake, had a slice, and took the rest to a friend or someone in her church who needed a pick-me-up."

How exciting, Jackie! These are the prettiest cupcake cups I've ever seen. I will enjoy using them for tea parties with my granddaughter. I have another granddaughter due in June, so they will get a long use! I'll send my address to you now--thanks so much!

Oh, Jacqueline!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you heard the collective "YEEEHAAAAAA!" from over here in the Heartland!
Sweetpea is spending the night, and we just finished our dinner. She and her Ganner have an hour of quiet time before she heads to bed, and I know even the fairies in that sweet little movie they're watching were jarred a bit when I saw my NAME!
Then we all joined in the merry yelling. She hasn't seen them yet, as I wanted to thank you first of all. Those are simply charming, and I'm resolved now to get all the things ready and spruced up and polished to FINALLY have the Lawn Tea I've dreamt of all these years I've been blogging about it. I've had the silver polished since 2008.
Thank you SO much! I've not used so many exclamations since the frog jumped out of the mailbox. You have no idea how you've improved my whole outlook on this cold Winter---thank you SO much.
