Valentine's Hugs and Kisses Table

Hugs and Kisses to all of my
friends out in Blogland!

If I could, I would set a table
for all of you and have you
over to lunch or dinner and
celebrate Valentine's Day with
you to show you how much I enjoy
your fabulous friendships!

Of course, I would tempt you with a little
chocolate before we began!

I am going to start your table with
these fun woven heart placemats.

And then we are stacking red and white
textured plates and topping them with
pink or white heart bowls to hold
the hugs and kisses.

I just love these strings of hearts
on the napkins.

I usually use this bright red flatware
just at Christmas and use my more
subdued reds at other times, but they
are just so perfect with the napkins!

The center of the table is filled with
red, red red.
I just love the cake stands.
They can be used in so many
fun ways.

Cherry Kay at
did a Christmas tablescape featuring
cranberry bells and I just fell in love
and had to order one for myself
from ebay.  It came right
away and has been sitting out ever since.

I am surprised one of the kiddies
hasn't picked it up yet to ring it.

The beautiful red
mercury glass candlesticks
were on a Christmas table too.

And these ruby red goblets are
always stunning.

I do need to look on ebay for a couple
of replacements for these as someone
must have broken them and not told me.
I just love ebay for finding replacements.

What a pretty stack of dishes
for each and every one of you!

We would have the best time,
I just know it!

So from my heart
to yours,

with a few treats thrown in,

Hugs and kisses
for a wonderful
Valentine's Day!

I will be sending hugs and kisses
to

Jacqueline

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

  12. Well thank you- and I'm pretending I'm sitting there right now admiring all your beautiful touches! Of course I love red so this table speaks to me! Those cute heart shaped bowls would look divine on my heart shaped dessert plates! I like the use of the red mercury glass and the red silverware. That satin tablecloth is beautiful! Love the new bell- I saw those on Cherry Kaye's post and thought they were quite the nice gift she gave to her friends! Hugs, Liz

  13. Oh, how I love those red mercury glass candlesticks!!! So pretty! I think they make a wonderfully easy transition from the Christmas season right on to Valentine's Day!!! The bell is a really special touch, too. Nothing like the beautiful tinkle of a bell to summon guests to the dinner table or to to ring during a Valentine's dinner for kisses! :-)

Very, very pretty table, especially with that gorgeous tablecloth. I STILL haven't used any of mine. What is WRONG with me?!?!??!! :-)

    Have a beautiful weekend!
