Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

"Though never a very good dieter, she'd found a rule of thumb that kept her from blimping out as her metabolism aged - eat what you want, but not all of it. So if she wanted cheesecake, she made cheesecake, had a slice, and took the rest to a friend or someone in her church who needed a pick-me-up."

ReplyDeleteWell thank you- and I'm pretending I'm sitting there right now admiring all your beautiful touches! Of course I love red so this table speaks to me! Those cute heart shaped bowls would look divine on my heart shaped dessert plates! I like the use of the red mercury glass and the red silverware. That satin tablecloth is beautiful! Love the new bell- I saw those on Cherry Kaye's post and thought they were quite the nice gift she gave to her friends! Hugs, Liz
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love those red mercury glass candlesticks!!! So pretty! I think they make a wonderfully easy transition from the Christmas season right on to Valentine's Day!!! The bell is a really special touch, too. Nothing like the beautiful tinkle of a bell to summon guests to the dinner table or to to ring during a Valentine's dinner for kisses! :-)
ReplyDeleteVery, very pretty table, especially with that gorgeous tablecloth. I STILL haven't used any of mine. What is WRONG with me?!?!??!! :-)
Have a beautiful weekend!
