Lake Powell Fun

Oh, the places we have been!
A lot of our family fun during summer months
is spent at Lake Powell.

This is my son Marcus.  I can do the stand up
jet ski, but I certainly can't do this move.
This was shot with my new Canon G15
that has slow motion video shooting -
so fun for this kind of sport action.

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

  1. Hello Maam J,
I see that you have had a wonderful summer.

I am hibernating for a 5 weeks due to summer reasons. So much travel 4 this year so far and 2 or 3 more in the end of the year. Crazy busy.

Hope to catch up with you again.

    Happy Sunday to YÁll.

    Greetings from sunny Stockholm,

  2. So pretty and graceful, but I bet your mamma's heart skipped a beat when he took that deep dive at the end. I was holding my breath waiting for him to reappear.
Lake Powell has long held a fascination for me. We visited the area in 1985. It's incredible!

  3. To be young and unafraid of daring adventurous fun. Sounds like a neat new camera that can capture slow motion video.

  5. Wow, he really went deep on that second dive! so fun! It makes me wish I were younger. we have a stand up jet ski, too and it is fun but I don't have the muscles for this kind of workout anymore! A few summers ago I went on the knee board and was able to do 360s but I don't think that will happen again. My 50 year old knees did alright but I am not sure what they might say NOW!!! We have talked for years about a lake Powell trip...maybe someday we will see you there!
    hearts,
    Betsy
