Jacqueline
Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

"Though never a very good dieter, she'd found a rule of thumb that kept her from blimping out as her metabolism aged - eat what you want, but not all of it. So if she wanted cheesecake, she made cheesecake, had a slice, and took the rest to a friend or someone in her church who needed a pick-me-up."

ReplyDeleteWhat a great, simple and delicious idea. I just finished making these with ghiradelli chocolate (as you suggested). I made milk chocolate with raspberries and dark chocolate with strawberries and then because I had leftover I also made a few with bananas. I'm serving them today for my sisters who are coming over for a visit. I plan to also post them to my blog for others to get this great idea. I will link the recipe back to your blog :)

OMG Jacqueline these were gone, gone, gone...within minutes of putting them out. We celebrated our Dad's 69th b-day today and we had TONS of food. I waited and put these out with dessert and the kids attacked! LOL The raspberry and milk chocolate were my favorite. I took pics of the different types I made and I plan to post them on our blog tomorrow. Thanks again for the great idea.
ReplyDeleteThey look so delicious and pretty too!! Kerri
ReplyDeleteJacqueline -- I love raspberries and chocolate -- it's the only time I like semi-sweet chocolate is with raspberries. What a lovely Valentine treat and it is healthy, right. Joni
ReplyDeleteThese look fabulous! We did dip some raspberries in a S'mores fondue yesterday:)
