Easter Video - His Hands

I wanted to share this beautiful video with you.
This past week in church two
 women sang this song and
it made me weep.  It truly portrays the way
I feel about our Savior Jesus Christ
and the ultimate sacrifice He has made for all
of us.

(Video put together by superguru100 on YouTube)

A few years ago we had the priviledge of traveling
to Israel for Easter and Passover.  We were actually
flying into Jerusalem at sunrise on Easter morning.  I woke
up and looked out the window and saw the sun
coming up over the horizon.

My mind immediately burst into song -
"He is risen, He is risen, shout it out with joyful voice,
He hath burst his three day prison ,
let the whole wide earth rejoice...."

What a priviledge to be able to travel to Israel,
to walk where Jesus walked.  It truly is a Holy Land
and you can feel that there.

We were also able to experience Passover, where
no bread or flour is allowed in the restaurants or
hotels - what an unusual experience that was for us.
We were able to partake of the Seder meal to end
the Passover at our hotel where Jewish families came
to celebrate their traditions and ate with us.

I was able to swim in the Dead Sea and in the
Sea of Galilee

and to take a ship across that most
famous Sea of Galilee where Jesus did much of his
teaching.

I walked on the same temple steps that Christ
would have walked on.

 I visited the Jordan River
where Jesus was baptized.

  As it were, "I walked
today where Jesus walked, and felt His presence there."

Of all of the traveling we have done,
nothing has been as life altering as a trip
to the Holy Land.  I was able to stand in the
 Garden Tomb

and pray for a confirmation that our Lord and Savior really
did rise from the tomb and manifest himself and
because of that we will rise again one day to be with Him.

Reading the scriptures was never the same again
after having been there and seen and experienced it.

This Easter, although bunnies and eggs are cute,
Jesus Christ is the reason for Easter and I am truly
grateful that
 He lives.
I Know That My Redeemer Lives.
