Stepping Out Witch Tablescape

Yes, yes, yes, it is that time of year
when the witches fly in for grand
celebrations at Purple Chocolat Home.
We have our friendly witches Stepping Out
for our first Halloween Party.

Beaulah is here and ready to host
as she is our very favorite witch.
You can see she has on her favorite
black heeled witch shoes with
purple accents.  These fit perfectly
with our party table.

These were the witches that
were invited to fly in for
dinner this year.
(We took this photo a couple of years ago.)

Beaulah and I had spotted these fun
plates and bowls at Home Goods
a few years ago, so we flew over
on our broomsticks to my daughter's
house to borrow them back.

The plates come in four colors and
the bowls do too.  I started the plate stack
with jeweled purple chargers.

A purple tablecloth grounds the
placesettings. I love these polyester
tablecloths as they wash up so nicely
and are inexpensive.  They also come
in so many colors.  They can be found
at Linentablecloth.com or Amazon

The witches love to hang their hats
on the chandeliers - better than
having them hang from the chandeliers
themselves.

I broke up the Halloween plates and
bowls with a silver dessert plate
from ZGallerie.

What better flatware for a bunch
of witches than my midnight black ones.

These little footed bowls are my
favorites with their high heel
shoes - stepping out!

Have you tried the Pumpkin Spice Jo Jo's
from Trader Joe's?  I think they are
addicting.  Each place setting got
a little gift bag of Jo Jo's.
Try them - they are amazing.

My purple bubble glass goblets
always add a nice touch to the table.

Beaulah and I decided to set the
centerpiece on one of our black
boards that we painted just for
Halloween last year.

The focal point is my MacKenzie-Childs
pumpkin planter with wheels that I
got a few years ago.

I filled it with my favorite
black and purple flower stems with
spooky eyeballs that I have all
over my house.  These were from Dollar Tree
a few years back.   Loving that purple
glass pumpkin too.

Obviously a couple of good witches
fly over here at Purple Chocolat Home and
we are so glad you flew in to see us.

I will be posting with

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.
