Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

"Though never a very good dieter, she'd found a rule of thumb that kept her from blimping out as her metabolism aged - eat what you want, but not all of it. So if she wanted cheesecake, she made cheesecake, had a slice, and took the rest to a friend or someone in her church who needed a pick-me-up."

Jacqueline, that is an amazing table. The tablescape with it's international flavor is a delight. Like you, I'm very fond of the freeform black dishes and the jade napkin rings. It's fun to pull together a table with the items in another's home. Great job. ~ sarah

ReplyDeleteThank you for coming to visit me last night and for your lovely comments. Yes, colors can really move you, can't they? I love the combination of my favorite color, AQUA with the lavender, which is my absolute favorite scent. It is in the small things in life that I am now beginning to take much joy in, like ENJOYING colors, textures and tastes that I never noticed before! My body is getting older, THAT'S FOR SURE, but my spirit just keeps getting younger. Teaching does that to ya!
