Fall Fairies In My Garden Tablescape

As I wandered through my garden the other day,
getting ready to pick pumpkins, I noticed the
rapid flutter of tiny wings.
Sure enough, fairies were flitting around enjoying
my garden.

This was not my regular crop of garden fairies, oh no,
this was a new group, a little heartier.
Yes, the Fall Fairies had moved in and taken over
the garden.

They must have come with the changing of the leaves
for they are all arrayed in autumn colors.

So precious with their gossamer wings.
They too were carrying a bounty of Fall harvest.

This little guy was enjoying my cherry tomatoes.

What a cute little fairy trying to squeeze into
Cinderella's carriage.  Careful now, you are going
to drop everything.

There were not as many as the Summer Fairies, but
they were oh so beautiful all dressed in their Fall finery.

They helped gather the Jack-be-Littles and then we
set the table for you.

Every garden has fairies.  As you harvest your garden
invite yours in!

May your Fall Harvest be bountiful!

In keeping with Red Couch Recipe's Thanksgiving Challenge,
I am grateful for gratitude.  Years ago I watched
an Oprah Winfrey show where she talked about
keeping a gratitude journal.  Our children were
too young to be writing things down but we started
saying 3 things we were each grateful for each
night.  It has continued as a family tradition
and helps us count our many blessings daily.

I will be posting this with
and

I will also be visiting

Flatware - Best
Placemats - Home Goods
Fairies - Mother Nature (Home Goods)

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

  2. Your fairy tabelescape is so delightful! The faries are so sweet and I think "Jack be Little" are my favorite type of pumpkins.

I keep a gratitude journal and I also find it is the best best way to find joy in all the experiences life brings us.

  3. Can I come live with you? This is just gorgeous! I've kept a Gratitude Journal for years. Have you ever read "Simple Abundance" by Sarah ban Breathnach? She used to be on Oprah occasionally years ago and suggested listing 5 things daily that you are grateful for. I think one's list will grow much longer over time and this habit can truly change your life. :-)

Have a fun rest of the week!
