Fall Buffet

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
I hope you have a wonderful feast with loved ones.We
are out of town with the family so I
thought I'd share a tablescape from this past week.

Life is filled with so many blessings and a
this time of year we are always counting our blessings.
One thing I am grateful for is the blessing of
grandchildren.  We had the blessing of
our sixth grandchild.  We followed it with a
buffet dinner at our home.

The buffet was set up at our baking
center since it was for a smaller group.

The stacked plate caddy gets dressed up a little
with Fall leaves and burgundy grapes.  It is so
easy to change with the seasons and celebrations.

The beautifully textured plates are showcased
this way.

This beautiful silvered piece holds chocolate coins
for the little ones.

I love these wonderful drink dispensers.  We use ours
constantly throughout the year.  Everyone loves to pour
their own drink whether it is water or punch.

A beaded and textured table topper was draped to form
a foundation for the tablescape.

A beaded candle holder becomes a flatware caddy.

Goblets in two colors are provided for adults and paper cups
for the children.

Our little turkeys want to be included in the party.

And pumpkins of all different types are placed around the buffet.

We made a sparkling pumpkin punch for a Fall drink.
It was new to everyone and they loved it
It is made of cream soda and Stephen's Pumpkin
Spice Mix.  Click above to get the recipe.

I will end this tablescape with a few night time
shots.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.  May
you experience gratitude and thanksgiving every day of
your life.  May your heart always be filled with thankfulness
for that God who gives you everything.  May He bless you always.
Thank you for being such a blessing in my life.

I will be sharing this with

Drink dispenser  - Costco (last year)
Gold flatware - Best (years ago)

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

I have missed blogging as it was such a normal part of my every day, but this lovely setting has reminded me how connected I am with so many wonderful people out there!

  33. Jacqueline, you have, hands down, the most GORGEOUS kitchen I have ever seen! The colors & the painting just take my breath away.

I just made a note to remember to dress up my stacked plate caddy with something Christmasy next month. I'm also kicking myself for passing up a fringed scarf I recently saw...it would be PERFECT for me to recreate your baking area buffet arrangement. I'll have to go back!

Congrats on the birth of your 6th grandbaby! What a blessing!

    Happy Turkey Day, too!
