About Me

 Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. Little did I realize there was one on almost every street. Such beautiful displays!... Purple - in ancient times a color reserved for royalty. Having grown up in an orange and brown world, when I could color my own world, it became a purple world... My formal education was in child psychology, my vocation is interior design, but my avocations are food, gardening, travel, food, photography, sewing, food and more food. While finishing my Master's Degree in Psychology I was taking night courses on dipping chocolates, upholstery, doll making, anything creative... I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.
