Frankie and Johnny's Dinner - A Halloween Tablescape

Beaulah decided to set a kid friendly
Frankenstein table today, so we are
calling it Frankie and Johnny's Dinner.

Frankie doesn't look too scary now does he?

Meet Frankie's friend Johnny who looks like a
a friendly enough kid in these adorable
plates from Target this year.

Johnny is a little vampire.

Since this table is geared more toward
children, we filled the candleholders
with Jelly Bellys  and popped in a candle.

These are Halloween colored Jelly Bellys
with green, orange, purple and black.

To tell the truth, I thought Johnny
was a little Frankenstein too at first.

Then I noticed his little fangs and his
peaked hairline.  I don't think baby
Frankensteins have fangs!

But it is all good, they get along well together
in their green and black.

We thought Daddy Frankenstein should be here,
so we filled up this bucket with Green Slime Popcorn.

This Frankie bucket was also from  Target this year.

They also had spider web buckets too.

Both are overflowing with the candy
coated popcorn that I am going to give
you the recipe for in my next post.

Franken -green organza placemats covered in
spider webbing

with green flatware adorn Frankie's table tonight.

Mmmmm more of that Green Slime popcorn for all of our guests.
(We actually had some girls over for dinner and served this
and called it our "green salad".  They loved that!)

Doesn't he just look too sweet to bite?

Oops, maybe just a little something to give a
thrill and chill to the kiddies.

We seem to have a few hands running
around Purple Chocolate Home these days.
(Be careful what you put in your mouth now!)

Maybe just a little something on the napkin ring
to "bug" the kiddies too!

Now this little fly doesn't bug me at all.

And who could get bugged by a cutie like
Frankie.

Beaulah and I hope you enjoyed
your not so scary Frankenstein  and Vampire
table today.

to make Frankie.

We are going to be sending along instructions
on how to make your own
Green Slime Popcorn soon.

We will be partying the week away with
