Birthday Party Tea and A Giveaway

As you may know, I am having a
from
my daugher-in-law Audra's
new online store which goes through
this Thursday at midnight.

She is extremely creative and I
love her personal style.

Today's tablescape is her table
for her daughter London's birthday
party.  It was a beautiful
Tea Party.

You can see how she set a gorgeous
table using wrapping paper covered in
sheet music running down the table.

Each place setting is created with a
blinged silver or gold charger and
vintage tea cups and saucers.

An additional lace runner, flowers
and candies are perfect
for this quaint little girl
tea party table.

She used a fun mix of fresh and silk flowers
for the table and sideboard and pretty
cake pedestals stand ready for the
lovely cakes.

Everything is just charming!

I love her collection of
cake pedestals.  You can
count five here in this picture.
(If you know me, you know I
have more cake pedestals than
I know how to store!)

The mix of chargers
and plates and cups is enchanting.  Even the
napkins are a fun mix showing
that you don't have to have
everything match.

I especially love these polka dot napkins
she used.

Audra had a couple of cakes, both ornamented
with fresh flowers and fruit.

This fabulous tall cake is simply filled
with frosting and then decked out
with fresh flowers and strawberries.

It was finished off with the perfect
dusting of powdered sugar.

The sideboard is all girly delight
with striped straws, a crown overflowing
with pearls and another smaller cake
topped with more fresh flowers.

Here is the birthday girl
posing for me.

I love the pink frame on the
sideboard with Audra's beautiful
chalkboard writing.

Each tea cup was filled with a
cupcake and fruit and cheese
along with other treats were served.

The tall cake was the crowning glory.

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

How I love to join the giveaways, but I know it's hard for the international readers to join. This could be a perfect present to my first grandbaby this coming Summer.

Have a great day, Maam Jacquie and to all your precious.
