Making a List Checking it Twice

Mr. and Mrs. Claus are sitting down
after a hard day's work by
the fireside to update their list.

**********
They are making their list and checking it twice!
You have no idea how much work this takes.

Wondering where you are fitting in this year?

You better watch out
because Santa Claus is coming to town.

As they sit down to some warm soup and
melty sandwiches in front of the
fire, they are discussing you.

Mrs. Claus always likes to pull up her
favorite table for two in front of the fire.

It is her Patience Brewster Krinkles table
with gold high heels.  Mrs. Claus always
has a touch of elegance.

So she uses one of her fun Patience Brewster
Krinkles trees to create a centerpiece for
her table for two.

She pulls out her fun flatware that
Mr. Claus picked up in Paris,
as he was flying through.

And the elves put a little magic into her napkin folds
creating Christmas trees out of the napkins.

She brings out her favorite red goblets.
You can imagine that she has a few
varieties, since red is her signature color.

Mrs. Claus also pulls up her favorite chairs,
made just for her and Mr. Claus.
They are high backed tufted in of course,
red velour.

Mrs. Claus is also partial to nutcrackers, so
a mini nutcracker adorns each placesetting.

How they relish their quiet evenings together
with all of the hustle and bustle.

Oh, I was mistaken, you weren't on the naughty
list, you were on the special reserve list -
the very, very, very nice list!

I will be posting this with

and of course, so are all of you!!)

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

  1. That little table for two is so fun! I love the chairs and the table with the shoes -- ooh, la, la! The napkin fold is very fun too! I am always on the "special reserve" list; I do not want to stress Mr. and Mrs. out, as they have so many others on the naughty list. Joni

  6. Phew! I am relieved to find out I am not on the naughty list. I would hate trying so hard all year to be good to no avail. And, I agree that Susan should be on the special list.

Jacqueline, I love this special spot for Mr. and Mrs. Claus to enjoy their time together. You always make everything super special.

I hope you will join us at Pink Saturday this weekend.♥
