Cabo Poolside Table

What a treat to have the sun and the ocean
all to ourselves for a week!

Usually we are entertaining and although we
love that too, it is a delight to be able to do
practically nothing and recharge our batteries.

I could just float like this jelly fish for hours,
enjoying the water and the sun.

Hubby really wanted me to do this table with
a view off the edge of the infinity pool
looking down at the sand, surf and rocks.

Shell shape dishes are always perfect for a pool
or ocean table.  I love how the morning sun is
shining through these glass shell bowls.

Don't you just love the magical look of
starfish?

Real or pewter, they are so beautiful and elegant.
Isn't Mother Nature just so creative and fantastic?

Clear wine goblets let you see right through to the ocean.

I can almost hear the ocean waves breaking in the morning sun.

It is the perfect backdrop for life.

All on a rustic small table for two right at the edge
of the cliff.

Wish this could go on forever!

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

  2. Jacqueline, this looks inviting, refreshing, and very tempting. Your view is amazing. I don't think I'd want to venture far. Your table for two is gorgeous, using some of my favorite dishes. I was lucky enough to find a few pieces of those shell dishes years ago ago at TJ or Marshall's. Wish they would show up again so I could add more place settings. Love the shell detail! I like to use the bowls for clam chowder.
    Enjoy your vacation!

My hubby and I are relaxing alone on our coast this week, after a hectic family weekend, and it's sheer heaven! Your plates are gorgeous, and I love the way you've captured everything sparkling in the morning sun~ I know you're enjoying every second!
