Halloween Here We Come!

I couldn't help myself!  I had
to set a Halloween table.

You know me, it is time
to get started with a little
Halloween fun.
September whizzes by
and before you can blink
we are at Halloween.

When I was down in St. George
I did a little shopping at Tai Pan
and picked up this fabulous wired
spider web ribbon in burlap.

I also picked up these fun pleated
hanging doo dads and decided
they would make fun chargers
for a Halloween table.

The weathered wood table
just looks spooky with
a few fun Halloween items added
and I love how it all goes
with my French script
love seats.

Rather than hang these from
the chandy, I decided to make them
the base of my placesettings.

I also picked up some new textured
plates while I was treasure hunting
at
Tai Pan.

Fortunately I have some black goblets
there in the condo.  These were perfect
for a Halloween table.

This table is just so fun to set!

This urn somehow reminds me of
something that would have a brew
bubbling in it.

If I don't get started with
Halloween projects, they will never get done!

Hope you always enjoy your moments
here at Purple Chocolat Home
and
thanks for taking the time to visit!

I will be posting this with

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

  8. WOW. Halloween can be tasty and elegant.
You just need amazing pieces (PCH, check), an eye for details (Jacqueline, check) and a will to play when it strikes (PCH, check) ahahah
It's amazing, Jacqueline. I swear you could give a 80 year old witch the Holly Golightly makeover with just handy items ahahah.
It's too soon to Halloween. But never too soon to be inspired and enchanted by you.
