Our June Bride

Well our lovely daughter is married!  I am
sneaking a moment or two away from
all the family festivities to share her
bridals/groomals with you
now that everything is official.

We had the pictures taken at
La Caille Restaurant's grounds
that I have posted on before.

You can't imagine a more beautiful
and varied setting.  It was exquisite.

There are wonderful places for
pictures both inside and outside.

She has a Paris theme for the reception
tomorrow night and so we just had to
take this photo.

They will be driving away in my convertible
so we brought that to the shoot also.

I have never seen her look so happy and so beautiful.

It was just so fun shooting them together
and as I said before we blindfolded him
so that we got a photo of his first reaction
to the dress.  This fabulous couch was
one my friend bought and then couldn't
get through her bedroom door.  I
"just had to" buy it from her.
Actually she had purchased it for 20% off
so it was a good deal.

Hubby says to tell you that if you are in the area
Thursday, June 20th, drop by at the reception,
he is sure we will have plenty of food!!

This has to be my very favorite photo.  His mother
took this one.
Thanks for stopping by to share in our
joy!

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.

I am crying, I am so happy for you and your family.....oh, the emotional roller coaster you could be on this week...with two children beginning a new "Adventure" in their lives, BIG important steps. I think about the Joy you are experiencing, along with all their steps, and that hint of sadness, not because they are "leaving you', but because your babes are growing in wonderful ways and that "Mommy" phase is so far away now, (which isn't all that bad actually!LOL) Interesting emotions come with these events...and TWO in the same week....WOW! And then next week!!! You are in my prayers, girl! Wish I could be there to help serve the wonderful food I know you will be having!!!
La Caille is back in business? Woo Hoo!!! please let me know the details!
    hugs and hearts to you!

  16. Beautiful, Beautiful. I laughed a little though, because I love the last pic the best too. The pictures I love of my daughter's wedding were mine, and not her photographer.

  20. Beautiful in every way. She does look very happy. I love their shoes. So cute and fun the girls are wearing shoes that can wear again now! I still have my white fabric shoes ( too lazy to look up the spelling of the fabric) worn once 42 years ago.

You have been busy. My goodness I would still be getting over the family vacation and all you did! You are amazing. So happy for everyone. Thanks for sharing these beautiful memories with us.

  39. Amanda's gown is gorgeous! It totally reminds me of the shower (or was it a bridal luncheon?) post you did with that fabulous linen from Your Chair Covers...the one that I immediately got online and ordered along with others!!! :-) (I am SO looking forward to using those after life settles down again.) I love the shoes, the jewelry, that really cool chalkboard that they can keep forever, and just the fact that they look like they had an absolute blast!

Congratulations to the couple and to both families!
