Timpanogos Storytelling Festival - Midwinter Conference

The Timpanogos Storytelling Festival
is one of the biggest
storytelling festivals in the United States and they host
a Midwinter Conference that took place this last week.
Storytellers travel from all over the nation to attend this
event.

I was asked to have three of the storytellers stay at our
home for the weekend.

They are from left to right, Anthony from Virginia,
Fran from Oklahoma and Jane from Illinois.

It was their first time to Utah for all three of them so we
surprised them with a box of See's chocolates
on their beds.

Anthony was so grateful as he mentioned they couldn't get
See's back east.

We happened to be hosting another event that weekend
with a pizza party for a church group so we kept
the fire going and served them two savory pizzas
and one dessert pizza as they returned from
13 hours of Conference and Concert.

The final night we gathered by the fireplace in the living room
and indulged in this fabulous
Chocolate Dome
from a local bakery and restaurant, Kneaders.

They were such a delight to host and we hope
they remember their stay with us with fondness.

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.
