Fabulous Gift from Fabby's Living

I was sitting in the living room talking to some friends
the other day when the doorbell rang and the mailman
had a package for me all the way from Ecuador.

I have never received a package from Ecuador and was
so excited.

I had won Fabby's 1 year blogging anniversary giveaway
and it came very quickly.  As I unwrapped it from its
beautiful wrappings I discovered a lovely tooled top
on the beautiful tea chest.

Isn't the workmanship just exquisite?

Fabby explained that it was a tea chest and that she
would have loved to have filled it with wonderful
teas from Ecuador but due to drug laws she
wasn't able too.

Doesn't she have exquisite handwriting?

Never fear Fabby, I can think of lots of different
uses for this beautiful box.

I feel so lucky to have received this treasured gift from
my dear blogging friend.  Right now it is perched right
on top of the piano.

Visit Fabby, she is a talented tablescaper,
a wife of 37 years, just this February, a
wonderful grandmother and entertainer and a
great blogger!

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.
