Triple Chocolate Muffins & Giveaway Winners

We have to include a sinfully delicious
chocolate muffin in our
Muffin Week.

This muffin triples the chocolate, so there
is something for every kind of chocolate lover.

Start by whisking the dry ingredients together.  This way
the cocoa powder is thoroughly mixed in and you break
up any lumps.

The smell of these Triple Chocolate Muffins is
great when the kids come home from school or
to wake them up on the weekend.

Triple Chocolate Muffin Recipe

1 1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. cocoa powder
1 T. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt

In a medium size bowl whisk the dry ingredients
together.

1 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 C. white chocolate chips

Stir the sugar and chips into the dry ingredients.

2 large eggs
1 C. milk
6 T. vegetable oil or melted butter

Lightly beat the eggs in a medium bowl, then mix
in the milk and butter.  Gently mix the dry and wet
ingredients together.  Spoon into 6 jumbo muffin
cups or 12 regular muffin cups.

Sprinkle with additional brown sugar and
chips if desired.  (I love the crunch this topping
gives to the muffins.)

Bake at 400.  Bake 25-27 minutes for the jumbo
muffins and 20 minutes for regular muffins.

Chocolate,
chocolate,
chocolate,
inside and out.

I will be posting this with
Tasty Tuesdays, Foodie Fridays, Sweets for a Saturday.

The winners of the headbands were
Tawnya at Weeping Willow Art
and
Sarah Coller at Blogging While Waiting.
Congratulations.  Your little ones will look so
great in these cute headbands.

A BIG THANKS TO WENDI -
she noticed that I left out a key ingredient
to Mom's Famous Cinnamon Rolls.
If you copied that off, please add 1 1/2 C. scalded
milk and 1 1/2 C. cold water.  It is fixed now on the post,
but without that it would be Mom's Famous Rocks!

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.
