Sparkling 4th of July Tablescape

God bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above.
From the mountains
To the prairies
To the oceans,
White with foam,
God bless America,
My home sweet home.

Red White and Blue
Celebrate Freedom
Celebrate our Nation

What have I done with my freedom?
John Adams wrote, "Oh posterity, you will never know how much
it cost us to preserve your freedom.  I hope you make good use
of it.  If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven that I ever took half
the pains to preserve it."

I am so thankful for that freedom.
I am thankful for what the colors red, white and blue stand for.
I am thankful for a father that fought in and survived WWII.
I am thankful for the abundant life I can live here in America.
I am thankful for God's wondrous creations throughout the
whole world.
I am thankful to be able to remember.
I am thankful for my wonderful family.

I am thankful for the opportunity to celebrate.
And for loved ones I can celebrate with.
May you enjoy your 4th of July celebrations
May freedom always shine.
May our freedoms be a light to the world.
Happy July 4th!
I will be posting the recipe for the Corn Salsa or Cowboy Caviar pictured with
the red, white and blue corn chips tomorrow.

The sherbet dish contains Vanilla Dreyer's Ice Cream,
Haagen Daaz Raspberry Sorbet and Vanilla Dreyer's Ice Cream rolled
in Wilton's Patriotic Nonpareils.

Red plates are from Home Goods, red goblets, blue sherbet dishes and red placemats

Chocolat - French for Chocolate. I adored chocolate from a young age when I had to sneak in the cupboard to find where my mother had hidden the Nestle's Chocolate Chips. Having read about the famous chocolat shoppes in Paris, when I finally got there I was determined to try a chocolate from every Paris shoppe. I invite you to share my adventures in creating, in travel, and in life.
